Baby, you did a bad, bad thing.....

When I get dressed I usually choose one item which fits my mood/circumstance and then build a look around the item. The look doesn't always work, but I try to include the one item,whether it's a piece of jewelry or a pair of trousers. Do you guys do that? The central item in this outfit was the House of Holland tights- they're so tongue in cheek and sexy that the rest of the outfit had to be sultry and a little messed up. I'm also back to considering bold lips- what do you guys think?

Today I quickly took some pics before I ran out to do some errands...I was all set to go when the heavens opened and cream brogues became less of a good idea! Also, silk scarves don't react well when wet, so up the stairs I went for a more subdued outfit (just a tshirt and flats- not terribly exciting). Just looking over the past photos I can finally decide that my style varies from girly to androgynous to rock and roll with a few stops in between. anyways, I'll stop rambling! have a great day guys!

Miami Vice

I must say that I love blazers and will never tire of a structured (but not exaggerated) shoulder. They look great and are such a wardrobe staple for when a denim jacket is too casual or when an outfit needs smartening up. I slipped this one over yet another jumpsuit and decided to dust off my old casio watch and start wearing it again. I had a total moment in the garden where I'm pouting and looking all serious and my animals are frollicking around in the background. Ahhh, when real life intervenes!

Jungle Formula

I met some friends for mexican food last night in the cheesiest restaurant EVER! They even made us wear sombreros after the meal. It was chilled out, hilarious and nice to catch up with people. I felt in the mood an animal theme, so I chose this zebra-printed dress with gold accessories. The dress is very forgiving, expecially after a large meal! Anyways, I'm off to do a pole dancing display this weekend, so more fashion on sunday. Have a great weekend guys!

The Clash

I don't usually post two outfits in a day, but I had to! Don't you love the feeling when you find a piece which, not only slips seamlessly into your wardrobe, it makes your existing clothes more interesting? Today I found two! I fell in love with the McQueen-esque printed longsleeved dress, but when I saw the jacket, I was hooked. Also, the stripey dress fitted like a glove and looked great with it! Both were from H&M and under 15 quid. Happy Friday!

Love/Hate

You should realise by now that I choose most of my outfits for comfort.The same probably can't be said for my shoes though! I flung on this jumper I found at a concession stand on Topshop and the world's most flattering tulip skirt. the outfit needed some toughening up, so the studded bag did nicely.

Testing Pattern

Ugh....have the post-holiday blues and just getting back into my routines.It's a scorcher today, so used my denim topshop shirt as a jacket- I love doing this with men's shirts as well! My dress was really light and airy, and I love the pattern. just paired it with glads.

Torquay Day two

After a massive lie in (we almost missed breakfast!) we sauntered down to the beach to take in some sun and chill out. I chose an easy outfit today, which was more about comfort than fashion. I love lying in the sun with no cares in the world...bliss!

Torquay Day one

After much palaver, Me and the Boy arrived in the English Riviera crumpled, tired and in need of a sleep, so Friday night was spent lazing in bed watching dodgy films on Film 4. We got up on saturday to a cloudy day, which quickly redeemed itself with lots of sun, sea and seafood. Just went exploring and found a beautiful Abbey, gorgeous cliffs and the best little seafood shack ever! We continued the seafood theme with dinner at this lovely bistro..yuuum! I was so lucky that the stripey dress was stretchy.Unfortunately, the nightlife in Torquay seemed to end at 11pm, so we retired to our hotel for much R&R.

Ooh la la!

This weekend I'm heading off on a mini-break and am so excited! I'm having trouble creating a 'capsule wardrobe' which works and have managed to narrow the selection down to three piles! :s I know, I know, but it's so hard to pick and choose! anywho, me and the boy are heading to Torquay, aka the English Riviera and I'll be taking loads of snaps! Will post them when I get back!In the meantime, I wanted to show you my new hat; those who know me know I've got a love/hate relationship with hats, but I couldn't resist this one!

The Row

I decided to do a post highlighting the Olsen Twin's high end fashion line. Now, I've got lots of respect for these two moguls, who have successfully turned a monopoly on the tween market into a credible and amazing fashion line. I also love how these girls appear to love clothes and style themselves- not something you find very often with multi-millionaires. They've come a long way from the Full House days and they continue to inspire me.

This is another one of my 'messing around with the camera' posts where I'm playing with angles and just seeing what happens! I'm off for a mini-break next weekend with the boy and can't wait!
